ในอินสตาแกรมเป็นเหมือนเวทีที่บรรดาแมวนานาชาติพันธุ์ประชันโฉมกัน โกเมส ก็เป็นหนึ่งในแมวสก็อตติช โฟลด์ ที่ไม่ยอมน้อยหน้า มีลงประชันกับเขาบ้าง

มีช่วงนึงแก๊งแมวญี่ปุ่นเขาเล่นสนุกลงรูปแมวหาวในไอจี ใส่ แฮชแท็ก #cats_naptime แต่ช่วงนั้นทั้งหน้าผมคุณชายยังไม่พร้อม เลยไม่ได้ร่วมสนุกด้วย แต่พอวันนี้ วันที่คุณชายถอดหมวก หูหายคัน แผลก็แห้งดี จะเหลือสีส้มติดมาข้างหูอยู่ก็นิดหน่อย จึงเป็นวันที่คุณชายหาวได้อย่างมั่นใจ อ้าปากได้อย่างไม่ต้องอายใคร พร้อมแววตาที่ลุกโชนไปด้วยพลังที่พร้อมจะกลับมาสดใส เล่นซนอีกครั้ง เราเลยลงรูปนี้ตามไปร่วมสนุกด้วย

แมวหาว หน้าโหดตอนแมวง่วงๆ

ซึ่งพอเอาเข้าจริงๆ ท่าแมวหาว ดูๆ ไปเหมือนแมวกำลังทะเลาะกับใครอยู่ เราเคยถามคนญี่ปุ่นเหมือนกันว่าแมวโกรธอะไร เพราะถ้าดูจากรูปอย่างเดียวมันดูเหมือนโกรธอยู่จริงๆ  เขาก็บอกว่ามันหาวอยู่ กำลังง่วง และไม่ได้โกรธอะไร จึงพอจะสรุปได้ว่า มันคงเป็นวิถีของนักล่าที่มีสัตว์น้อยใหญ่คอยจับตามอง การทำหน้าให้น่าเกรงขามจึงติดอยู่ในสายพันธุ์จากป่าสู่บ้าน แม้แมวจะง่วงแค่ไหน ถึงเวลาหาวก็ยังต้องมีแววตาที่ดุร้าย น่าเกรงกลัวหลอกตาอยู่ตลอด เราคอนเฟิร์ม ได้จากคุณชายนี่เอง เพราะหลังจากถ่ายรูปนี้ ไม่กี่นาที คุณชายก็เดินเข้ามุม ลงกล่อง แล้วหลับไปอย่างอิ่มเอม

#cats_naptime instagram challanged

In the instagram, there is a big stage for cats around the world showing their endearing charms. Gomez, a self-confident Scottish Fold, is sometimes on that stage. Last month, there was a campaign among the Japanese. They posted cats yawning and put the hashtag #cats_naptime. Gomez wasn’t ready at that time because as you know, his e-collar was still on, so we skipped that campaign.

But today, he has now recovered. The wound is healed, the itchiness has gone and no more e-collar. He was back on his feet and yawned confidently with his widest gape. His eyes shone with energy. I posted this image for the campaign later. However, most yawning cat images look more angry than sleepy. Earlier I asked a Japanese who joined the campaign what was his cat angry about? He said his cat was absolutely sleepy, not angry. So I think because of a cat’s hunting heredity, the yawn makes them look so confused. It retains an agressive look even when sleepy. I can confirm it was sleepy because I saw it with my own eyes. A few minutes after taking this photo, Gomez was sound a sleep in his comfy little box.
