What we can learn from cats
Lots of complains about cats, who are blamed for their stubborn independence and unconcern for others. None of these criticisms can change people’s minds about liking cats. On the other hand, they love cats even more. Strange but true. They pay more attention to cats, observe them more closely, as to the way cats live their lives. It’s unique. One of a kind skill.
- Being independent, but still be loved by people around them. One skill we humans can only dream of!
- Being lovely in a silent way. A skill we people want to learn.
- Being able to estimate one’s power before risking anything. One skill we people need to know.
- Being chubby but never clumsy. One skill we people should acquire.
- Being sweet in an irresistible way. Another skill we people would love to have.
Way of cat’s life
When I read these lines, Gomez, our princely cat smiles broadly, revealing his layered neck and chin. He is so proud of himself, being a cat, with no need to change anything to make people love him. I stroke him and accept that I’m the one who loves to spoil him. Gomez walks to lie down beside me. He knows I will stroke his belly. And I do so undoubtedly.
